Getting Started
- What is a Tax Refund Card?
- A Tax Refund Card is a debit card that is tied to a bank account number, which can be used to direct deposit tax refunds directly to the card.
- What are the requirements for getting started?
- You must have a registered tax preparation business in the United States.
- What information do I need to provide?
- In order to register your business with Green1040 you must provide us:
- A signed and notarized application
- Your business' Tax ID
- The names of the owners
- Picture ID for the owners
- A copy of a company bill showing the address of the company
- Proof of Tax Preparation Business
- Are there any fees to get started?
- There is a nominal setup fee of $ 99.00
- How do I get Green1040 MasterCard® cards?
- Once your application is approved, you will be able to register your customers. The cards will then be shipped directly to their home addresses.
- How do I pay for Green1040?
- We accept checks, credit cards or wire transfer.
Enrolling Customers
- How do I enroll customers?
- Customers are enrolled using the Green1040 website.
- Login to the Green1040 website with your username and password.
- You can then enter the customer's information and upload a copy of his/her picture ID.
- The card will be mailed by Green1040 directly to the customer. The Green1040 system will instantly provide the account and routing number.
- Provide the account and routing number to the IRS.
- What do I need to enroll customers?
- You will need a computer and Internet access to enroll customers.
- What information do my customers need to provide?
- All persons receiving a Green1040 MasterCard® must provide:
- Full Name
- SSN
- Address
- Telephone number or email address
- A copy of a picture ID
- How long does it take for a card to arrive?
- 5-7 business days.
Receiving Refunds
- When can my customers receive a refund to the Green1040 MasterCard?
- The Green1040 MasterCard can be used to receive funds as soon as you register to it to the customer.
- Is there a limit on the size of the refund that can be received?
- The maximum refund that can be deposited to the Green1040 MasterCard is $9,500.00

- Is there a setup fee?
- There is a nominal setup fee of $ 99.00
